Full Moon in Libra 2025

Merry Meet and Welcome to you magickal souls!!!!

It's time to think about the upcoming Full Moon in Libra which will be occurring on 12th or 13th April depending on which time-zone you're in. This won't be an eclipse but it's still a great lunar event.

This Full Moon occurs during Aries season which is always between 21st March and 19th April. This is because Libra is opposite to Aries when the zodiac signs are drawn out in a circle.

Full Moons are typically associated with amplifying any and all emotions, so it wouldn't be surprising if insecurity, comparing our lives and personalities, and being indecisive are more prevalent. This could be due to Libra being an Air sign, but it wouldn't be too far-fetched for us to experience some kind of difficulty when trying to make sense of our emotions, believing in ourselves, and even making the simplest of decisions could appear to be more like hard work.

When it comes to comparing ourselves and our lives to others and theirs, it may look like we are the only ones who aren't blossoming because we are too tightly wound up as a bud, to continue the flower analogy, and we don't have any idea as to how to unwind. Perhaps the feeling of being "left behind" could feel like it is encouraging us towards doing something or anything at all.

Because this Full Moon is occurring during Aries season, so enthusiasm, courage and new beginnings will be amplified as well. The new beginnings comes from Aries starting the astrological year off, so this Full Moon gives us the opportunity to ensure that we remove everything that weighs us down and keeps us out of balance. All of this to give us the chance to make the new season and zodiac year different to the last one.

Libra is symbolised by scales, so we are being asked to see our lives as a set with the Moon providing us the chance to rediscover a sense of balance. This is the time for us to lighten our emotional load, and add anything that can help us to reach our full potential and let us unwind to bloom.

So, this is the time for us to take stock of every relationship we have in our lives, including with ourselves. Anything that is out of balance needs to be changed or removed entirely. Our truth needs to be spoken so our feelings need to be shared, even if that means being vulnerable, which may have stopped us previously from being authentic and present in relationships. We need to stop avoiding confrontation and/or difficult conversations because they are part of balance and harmony within our relationships. This can and will only help to start us down the path to healing our relationship wounds, triggers or outdated beliefs that still stay within us. Look back and review if there have been any repeating kinds of relationships, stories or hurts as these will show us the way towards healing which will be found within the lessons within these situations.

So, let's have a look at a collective reading for this Full Moon in Libra.

What area of our lives is most in need of balance?

Child of Visions

With this card, it seems that we need to address the balance between work and play.

There's a saying that could apply that says: "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy (and Jill a dull girl)". This means that if we do nothing but work, life becomes boring and so do we as people. But the same can be said if we do noting but play.

So we need to find the sweet balance between the amount of time we spend working and the amount of time we spend playing and having fun.

This is nothing but an experiment because the balance might be different for each of us, but it is still something that we can discover and endeavour to achieve in our lives.

We need more fun but who says we can't ensure that fun is in every part of our lives?

What do we need to release to restore balance in our lives?

The Wisewoman

With this card, we have arrived at the crossroads, but we appear to have a choice to make: left for the dark path of just working, or right for the light one for mostly play.

But we aren't yet the Wisewoman, as she has only appeared to give us wisdom. She comes to say that we don't have to choose between these two paths because we can straddle them both.

Working and having fun aren't separate ideas. Why shouldn't we be able to have fun while we are earning? Who says we can't enjoy what we do to earn our incomes?

Work should be something that we enjoy and look forward to so that it doesn't become a burden that we dread.

Perhaps it's time for us to release the idea of work and play/fun being two separate concepts since it's not serving us anymore.

Which healing energy is being amplified so that we can pay attention to it?

Ten of Visions

With this card, there's a sense of family and wholeness presented to us, as well as peace and joy.

All of this is to say that this is exactly the energies being amplified. Without some kind of family (blood relative or friends that you've chosen as your family), we can't experience the kind of support that comes from a place of love.

There is also healing energy to be found in feeling whole within our own selves, that each part or aspect of who we are can work together to bring peace, harmony and balance to ourselves, then to those we care about as an extension.

If we love ourselves then we don't necessarily need to be loved by others to know that we are loved. The act of self-love can help to amplify what we need to do for our own sense of peace.

Which kind of healing do we most need right now?

Three of Boons

This card comes to talk about teamwork, working in collaboration with others according to what each individual is skilled at doing, and having a common goal, purpose or intention.

The raven is writing things down, the small creature is sitting with everything they have gathered for this project, and the woman is bringing everything together.

This is what we need to heal. We don't necessarily have to do everything on our own, so we need to remember that working alongside others for a shared goal can be what we need.

The goal itself isn't important but a sense of community is because we should remember that we are part of a greater whole that we can influence and towards which we can have/be a positive impact.

There is nothing against doing things on our own but we do need to remember that we are part of a community, both locally and globally, so that we can achieve shared goals that benefit everyone. Community can be family, friends, people we share our street or town with, so there are plenty to choose between. It's just necessary to bring some fun into whatever we do so that everyone can have a good time, build relationships and so the task at hand doesn't feel like a burden or work that is too hard/difficult.

I hope this inspires you to think about what you can do for your own communities. If you'd like a more personal look at how this Full Moon in Libra could impact or influence your life, my diary and inbox are open.
