Be A Goddess: Lesson Fifteen

Merry Meet and welcome to you magickal souls!!!!

It's time to share my thoughts about the final Lesson within "Be A Goddess" by Francesca De Grandis. This Lesson was titled "Merry Meet and Merry Part" and it was all about saying goodbye without it being permanent.

This was like the final comments within an essay, recapping everything but in a way that wasn't too much. It was also peppered with examples from Francesca's own clients of what had worked for different people, who had put the work in and other situations. I won't go through those but they did make me think about my own Craft.

Francesca wrote that it is good to take a break between courses, and I do agree but I also acknowledge that I have a tendency to jump from one to the next in search of a source of dopamine or just boredom.

Learning is a bit like the cycle of the seasons in that we can take a break in the winter to internalise and integrate everything within, then in the spring something new can be started, summertime brings growth, and then autumn hosts the lessons and the fruits of that growth.

It's important that we accept our own selves and others as we/they are, flaws and shortcomings included. No judgement at all towards anyone.

As we walk our own paths, we do need to take responsibility for our own lives and actions. This is true whether we are talking about our magickal lives, mundane or any part of life. But this doesn't mean that we can't ask for advice when we need to, and this is something that we should do. Asking for help doesn't mean we are weak, inexperienced or that we know nothing; it means that we know when we need guidance.

Life is absolutely worth living, and it should be celebrated at every opportunity. It doesn't matter how big or small the achievement either. Sharing the joy will multiply it.

This was a relatively short Lesson but among the final comments, Francesca did recommend coming back to this book in the future, whenever it feels right to do so. I definitely will, to see if my experiences are any different.

So while this is a short post, I hope it has heped to inspire you to acquire your own copy of "Be A Goddess" so that you can have your own experience of this.

Peace and love to all!!!!
