Full Moon in Virgo 2025

ree

Merry Meet and Welcome to you magickal souls!!!!

It's almost time for the Full Moon in Virgo which occurs on Thursday 13th March 2025, while the Sun is in the opposite sign of Pisces. This Full Moon will also be a Lunar Eclipse.

Virgo is the Most Grounded Earth sign out of the three (Taurus and Capricorn being the other two), because it doesn't let us hide, fantasise, pretend, or even make excuses for anything. When the Moon is in this sign, it's a lunar hit that brings us back to reality and ensures that everything becomes obvious and clear to see regardless of what it is that we need to see.

Virgo wants us to be firmly grounded in reality so that we can stare it in the face, where we are, what we are doing, what we are putting up with, the gut feelings that we aren't paying attention to, how we are being controlled by our own fears, how we are struggling with all the burdens we carry, where we are stuck, but also where we need things to change. If any of these things aren't what or how we want them to be, then Virgo comes to tell us that we can change but we need to be organised and face everything one at a time and head-on.

While Virgo is that way, there may be times when we doubt our abilities, our skillsets, and our focus. We may be likely to overthink, maybe even being too critical of ourselves and our dreams. This is more commonly known as "Imposter Syndrome", and it is entirely possible that this may something we need to face as we approach and experience this Full Moon.

As previously mentioned, the Sun is in Pisces when this lunar event occurs and this means that the Piscean themes of imagination, sensitive emotions and endings will be highlighted and integrated with the energy of Virgo. This mix will result in us being able to create necessary endings so that we can make room for dreaming and visioning for the future, while also putting practical plans together to make this all happen.

As previously mentioned, this Full Moon will be a Lunar Eclipse. Eclipses are opportunities for us to face the Shadows that we might prefer to hide away from. In this instance, the Moon is being hidden so the emotional Shadows will be the ones that we need to face. They will be deliberately held in stasis just long enough for us to see it in all its truth. There will be something relating to our organisational abilities and confidence that we need to face at this emotional time.

This Full Moon in Virgo is good for putting our lives under scrutiny and transforming our lives into practical, organised and planned-for dreams. It's a great opportunity for us to make note of our most common fears and worries so that we can release them when the Moon is waning. Another opportunity for transformation is given to us when it comes to the things that we can change and the practical steps we can take to make them a reality.

So let's have a look at how the collective can navigate this Full Moon in Virgo. I've created the spread below just for this and used the Witches Tarot deck by Ellen Dugan.

What can we do right now to change our situation?

Three of Wands

With this card, we are being told that we can change our situation by changing our perspective, our mindset.

Something about our situation is tied to our minds. This could be from our childhoods when we were taught that our dreams mean nothing, or that we have no chance of achieving anything.

We have to leave our past behind us because we cannot change it. What we can do is use the present moment to change the future, but this is only possible if we start believing in ourselves, regardless of what we are taught as children.

We deserve to travel, whether physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually.

We deserve to follow our dreams.

But we need to have the mentality to actually achieve these things.

Which area of our lives is most influenced by Imposter Syndrome?

Temperance & Knight of Swords

Temperance comes to tell us that we may not have been moving towards our dreams, desires and goals, even if we may have deceived ourselves into believing that we were.

This card embodies the lesson within Aesop's fable, The Tortoise and the Hare, where the Tortoise makes slow and continual progress with a quiet kind of self-belief and -confidence while the Hare is overly confident and takes a lot of unnecessary breaks. With this in mind, it may be that we have either been too much like the Hare and overly confident while achieving nothing or we have been too cautious and not taken enough steps forward to constitute progress

With the Knight of Swords, there is a confirmation of wanting progress but within this card, we cannot see what form that takes.

We want progress and we think we are prepared for it but are we really? We may have convinced ourselves that we are protected with the armour we have put on, but the question remains as to whether we really need that armour because wearing too much armour can lead to Imposter Syndrome rearing its head.

If we've told others our dreams and goals and been told that we can't do it, this is where protecting ourselves comes in but we need to understand that we might need to let others in to collaborate and help us to achieve them. There's nothing wrong with needing help sometimes to get to where we want to be in life.

What kind of plan do we need that will allow us to achieve our dreams?

Eight of Pentacles

This card is all about putting in the effort, honing our skills, before we can achieve our dreams.

Within this card, we are the lady depicted as polishing what she has worked towards. But she couldn't do that at the drop of a hat. She had to work to be able to make those Pentacles. She didn't know how to make them without learning from books and experts about the required skills putting in plenty of time for practicing.

So too do we have to learn from the very beginning. Having an interest is all well and good but without having the knowledge and expertise behind us, we won't be able to get to this card.

We need to be open to learning at every point in our journey because we can always learn something new.

Out of everything that is holding us back, which one do we most need to release?

The Shadow Side & Nine of Swords

The Shadow Side is this deck's alternative to The Devil. This card is all about breaking free from whatever shackles we have on us, like the girl hiding behind the dead tree.

But within the image of this card, there is also a young man whose hands are free but who cowers from the Shadow in fear.

Perhaps the message is that we need to face our fears so that they don't shackle and imprison us because whatever scares us about achieving our goals and dreams is what is stopping us from being truly successful.

Releasing our fears is not simple or easy but it is something that we can work towards.

With the Nine of Swords, we are not just being told to release our fears, but also our worries and doubts.

Here, the nine swords sit above the woman who is reclining on a bed but who appears to be trying to move at least the bottom sword from being too close and making her uncomfortable.

When we worry about an aspect of achieving our goals, we put an extra barrier up in our own way. We can worry but it's important that we don't let these worries take up too much time, space and energy in our lives.

Perhaps we need to make a list of our fears and worries to see just what we are actually scared about or by. We do this so that our lives aren't affected by these worries anymore than they already are.

So we deal with the Shadow Side by making a list to face our fears and worries.

So this Full Moon in Virgo wants us to organise our fears and worries into something that we can see and not be scared of. Worrying can take up too much of our time and energy if we don't take the time to see what they really are. We also need to get organised about what we need to learn in order to be more successful. We should also work to release these fears and worries so that they do not affect our future like they have our past and present.

This might seem heavy for some but even starting to think about these things is better than doing nothing and letting our fears and worries continue to control what we do. Starting the work now doesn't mean we have to finish it as well. This could be something that we need to keep coming back to as we take steps towards progress and success.

I hope this has been helpful but if you'd like to have a more personalised look at how you can use the energy of the Full Moon in Virgo, my diary and inbox are open.

Peace and love to all!!!!
