Full Moon in Aquarius 2025

Merry Meet and Welcome to you magickal souls!!!!

The Full Moon in Aquarius is almost upon us! This lunar event will reach its peak around 9th August 2025, although this will depend on what timezone you are in. But what wisdom could this particular Full Moon offer to us?

Well, this Full Moon occurs while the Sun is in the sign of Leo, as the Full Moon will always be in the opposite sign to the Sun. But this Moon comes to help us to untangle, release, see the truth and experience revelation. If we have been wanting to find a new and clean start, this is the time where we should be able to see where our brightest future might lie.

Since this Full Moon occurs in Aquarius, there is every chance that we will want to stand up for ourselves and say what we mean, most particularly when it relates to areas of our lives where we are stifled and allowed no sense of freedom. However, it is important that we try to avoid those conversations until the Moon has started to wane as the emotionally cool energy of Aquarius may have us saying things that we don't really mean.

It's pertinent to note that the energy of Leo will be highlighted during this Full Moon, so there are also some elements of living according to our hearts and unique sparks that will be flying around at this time.

The sign of Leo rules the heart, so with the Moon in Aquarius at the same time, something that will make this time a little easier is to bring the concerns of the heart to the head so that whatever is going on can be lived as much as they are felt. Leo asks us to step into ourselves and shine.

Aquarius is more related to our greater vision of the world at large and especially everyone around us. So the sign of Aquarius will help us to take what is in our hearts and share it with the rest of the world.

At this Full Moon, any rituals or spellwork pertaining to affairs of our hearts and making sense of them in our heads will be strongest. This might be helped by making a list of everything our heart is called towards, alongside an action we can take over the waning Moon to get our messages out into the world.

This Full Moon may also be helpful for spellwork and rituals for making a clean break, but this can first be started by making a list of any life areas, situations and/or relationships that we feel are stifling our sense of freedom by holding us back. This list should give us insight into what has run their course and whether it is time to release them during the Waning Moon.

As Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac, it is interesting that this Full Moon is likely to show us where and how we want to go against the norm and create more freedom in our lives. Again, this can be begun by making a list of smaller changes that we can implement little by little over the next couple of weeks to bring about a bigger overall change.

Cool Your Emotions

It seems that as much as we might want to redirect our emotions to make sense of them with our heads, we may want to think about not doing this while those emotions are fresh and seemingly in charge of our reactions.

If we want to be more rational, then we can't let our emotions run who we are. We need to remember that we experience our emotions but we are not those actual emotions.

Aries is all about new starts as it is the first zodiac sign and taking action, especially towards whatever new start we are needing but the Full Moon energy comes to show us that we still have work to do and to show what that work is.

What do we most need to untangle at this time?

Focus on the Positive

With this card, we are being told that we most need to untangle the negatives from the positives so that we can see and then focus on the latter.

If the negatives are too mixed up with the positives, then we can lose sight of the good in our lives because we focus too much on what we think has gone wrong.

This card is telling us to untangle reality from our imaginations because reality could be more positive than we are able to see because we are too caught up in what we believe is happening around us.

The main reason to do this is so that we can change our perception of what is happening around us.

How can we do more than just experience events in our lives?

Go Deeper

With this card, we are being told to go deeper. Admittedly, this could mean many things but the main one is that we need to do more than just see the surface layer of what is happening around us.

There is more to be found if we only look further. We cannot truly heal if we are unwilling to find the root cause of the initial wounding. But the same can be said of finding the joys and positives in our lives.

Just observing the surface of situations hasn't been helpful, and this certainly doesn't allow us to see who people truly are since we are only seeing what is being projected, not what is real.

What do we most need to share with the world right now?

Last Quarter Moon in Leo

Lighten Up

With this card, we are being shown that by lighting up, we can avoid the negatives which are full of a heavier energy; happiness and joy have a much lighter feeling to them, by comparison.

This card could also be saying that we need to shine a light on the truth so that we can discover what we most need to share. This would also indicate that what we most need to share is also hidden from even ourselves right now, but not that it would be impossible to discover what needs to be shared.

Or perhaps what we need to do is share with the world the knowledge we have learned about lightening up in life.

So, these cards may not seem to be relevant to this Full Moon in Aquarius but, the cards themselves are rebelling against the expectations we might have unconsciously applied to them before reading about them. However, these cards are interesting in that we aren't being shown directly what we need to do or focus on; instead we are being shown the way todiscovering everything we are asking about. Almost as if the Aquarius energy is saying we need to be independent, to show others how to do the same.
